Fellow Birdmen: About the weather for these flights: I use Active Sky for weather in my P3D v5 flight sim. Sorry, but I don't tediously enter the weather using the "custom" feature. Instead, I just use historical weather for the date and time that is given with most of the flight briefings. I notice that dates were not given for flights 08 and 09. Oh well, I just use historical weather for whatever takeoff time in the briefing.
This method has worked pretty well so far. Flight 08 was a gas! It was dark when Ernie and I started our old C-47, and we got to see sunrise over the mountains as it peaked through the clouds. Had to do some careful orbits over the destination field (ENOP) to descend below the cloud ceiling to spot the runway. It was a short flight, but challenging. It wasn't entertaining in the least, as we all know that entertainment is not allowed in P3D v5.
Keep the shiny side up and the greasy side down.

Weather? Yeah, we got some!

Nice action shot there Alan.
I can’t be bothered to type in weather details either, it’s either live weather or clear sky for me.
