Re: Norway Airports reconstructions
These are some pics of another of Norway's airports, which I found after WT2023. It is home to the Preserved ( and Airworthy) Dakota in Norway, so I've made a start on this one in ribute to the Dakota Norway team! ENTO 1.JPG ENTO 2.JPG ENTO 3 Dakota Norway.JPG This is the Hangar, on Torp Airfield, w...

Norway Airports reconstructions
Hi I promised, in General Discussion, to put up a few pics of my 'modified default' versions of some airports used in W T 2023. Here they are - If I can, when I've got them complete, I'm going to get them onto 'Flightsim.com' for free availability, just in case anyone out there would be interested! ...

Re: World Tour completed!
I too hugely enjoyed the Rally - it took me to places I'd not ventured before, and I found my interest in modelling airports rekindled when I discovered more 'default' aerodromes with little or nothing more than a runway! I missed getting the final flight in ( through no fault of the Rally or its ta...

Re: World Tour Flights
It's taken me a while to notice the absence, but I'm sure ICAO ref UELL was featured among the W T Flights to begin with!
Was I hallucinating?

W T Flight 04
Didn't enjoy the flight with departure @ 16:00 as briefed - half of flight in black darkness with much (invisible) high ground below! Flew route again with earlier departure - enjoyable scenery - Note for anyone flying it at briefed departure time;- Hold that 9500ft on Leg4 at least till >15nm from ...

Re: World Tour 2023 Flight-03
DC3 W-T-Flight 03-1.JPG Wonderful route for a flight, even a virtual one in FSX! I had immense fun with this trip, trying some really low over the water stunts (OK, I only got down to around 100ft!) I'd looked up Snettisham "Airport" on Google maps, and although the image is quite blurred...

Flight 03
Spectacular! Water/Ground/Snow (/trees!) - hugging all the way! I was only 100ft above the water as I approached 7AK2, and suddenly thought I didn't have this airport, as I could only see trees! By the time I'd climbed high enough to see the runway I had to do a tight circuit for a second approach. ...

Re: World Tour 2023 Flight-01
I forgot all about screenshots on my first WT flight, but I've been working on a bit more detailed CYRQ for FSX, as the default has very little there! I have more custom objects to create for it yet, but here is a shot of the end of my WT01 flight with my 'modified' version of CYRQ so far! DC3 W. T....

Re: W T Flight02
I flew trip 02 again, still with IFR and same weather theme, but this time my Timer was working OK. I selected 7000ft in flight planner and didn't get shunted up and down on the way! I still had the 20Kn tailwind, and flight time turned out to be bout an hour and three quarters! I was clocking up IA...

Re: Flight 02 - a good flight - nobody died
Hi Alan, Had same sort of altitude problems in FSX. I think there must be some sort of Minimum Terrain clearance in existence within Flifght Sim! I've experienced it before in IFR flights. I flew WT-02 still in IFR but at 7000ft, as they seemed to accept that! Enjoy they rest of the Flights :) Geoff
