Flying The Sahara Desert

Flying across the Sahara is in many ways like flying between islands. Navigation by dead reckoning is necessary due to the great distances between navaids. The first leg of the journey takes you from Casablanca on the Atlantic Ocean, over the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara Desert where on the final leg you see the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx before landing in Giza.
